Anyone familiar with this system? I know it has a preprogrammed message on hold, but does it also have an input for an outside music source - like an 1/8" mini jack or RCA connection? If an outside music source is compatible, where can I find programming instructions to play the audio from the outside source rather than the preprogrammed moh? Thanks!

If its' an IVX 128- It will take a 1/8 mono plug for the MOH input and you will have to Program Function 631 to "590" To select the external input instead of the internal message. I'm not sure if this is the system you are referring to or not, I'm striclty reading the manual and I'm not familar enough with ESI to know if that's the "S" class or not. Hope this helps.

I think the S class is the latest flavor of the 20 plus. The programming for MOH is the same.

The S-class is a 42 port system and has a 1/8" mono mini-jack for an external Music source. Also, in system programming, Function 631 must be set for code 590: "live external source". The default setting is 592: "pre-recorded music with 'please continue to hold'. Function 633 is for MOH volume; 1 to 12 being the loudest. To enter programming press PROGRAM then the HOLD button then enter the installer password and #.
