Make sure you have a good database archive (unless you desire to program the whole system from scratch) then power down the system and move the cold start strap over for about a minute. Move the strap back to normal, fire it back up and restore the database. I've seen more crazy crap occur on the DX80 from brownouts and hard surges. Everytime now when one is doing weird stuff, I cold start it and everything goes back to working.
