Although your question has been answered by our support team, I wanted to post the reply on this board.....
There are a couple of possible scenarios:
If an FXO port is available on the SPA-3102, the V-2006A will connect directly to this port. Ensure the battery feed switch (SW6) is in the ON position.
If an FXO port is not available and an FXS or ATA port is utilized, a V-9970 (Station Level Page Adapter) would would be required between the FXS or ATA port and the V-2006A. The V-9970 will answer the incoming call between the first and second ring, then provide a line level output and close an associated relay that will trigger the V-2006A. In this scenario, the battery feed switch (SW6) would need to be in the OFF position.
https://www.valcom.com/techsupport/pagecontrol_ts/v-2006a.htm To test the V-2006A, plug an analog phone into J4 or connect a buttset to the w/bl pair on the block. When off-hook, an intercom dial tone should be heard. From there, enter a desired zone (1-6) or All Call code (0) and page.
