This has occurred twice now, and we are in the dark as to why.
After the scheduled restart of the switch at midnight, the AVDAP service on the Voice Mail server is unable to log back in. The event log shows Event IDs 7000 and 7013, which say that the service cannot start due to a login failure.
We have checked to make sure that the user does have the "Log in as a service" right, and it does.
The "fix" is for us to go into the service properties, retype the password (the password never changes, we type in the same one each time), click Apply (which returns the message "The user has been granted the "Log in as a Service" right"), then click OK. We are then able to start the service back up, and the voice mail system comes up.
It is almost like the server is "forgetting" that the user account that is used has the Log in as a Service right.
We are on an W2k Voice Mail server w/ Unified Messaging. The user account used for the AVDAP service is a domain account.
Any help would be appreciated.
