Rcaman Member Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,716 Pittsburgh, PA	Get down to basics. Remove everything except your laptop directly connected to the maintenance port of the EL. Use Hyperterminal. Set it up for VT-100 emulation. 8-None-1 and use 9600 to start. No Flow control. Make sure the cable is a straight cable. You should have no issues connecting. If you are still having problems, try another computer. We service a lot of Mitel El and I have never not been able to get into programming. Rcaman Americom, Inc.
