I have a Starplus 616 Flex system that was working properly for a while after installation, but we had a 'brown out' power failure one afternoon and now only station 10 will ring audibly when incoming calls come in. All stations can answer, and make calls, and the intercom notices are audible, of the 6 stations we have set up, only station 10 actually audibly rings. I've tried doing a system reset via the manual, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Switching the phones between stations does not correct anything either. All stations will ring audibly when connected to station 10 outlet.

Would love some advice on how to fix this as its difficult to hear the only one station from the other rooms in our clinic.

I don't know what you do in your clinic, but I'm guessing it's not telephone work. Use the "find an installer" tab or check out your yellow pages for an installer to run a service call. Be default, your system has defaulted :-) Ring points have to be reprogrammed.

Thanks Carl,

Yes, we work on puppies and kitties in my office, not telephones. I was hoping to be able to get some assistance on understanding the install manual well enough to program those ring points myself. I've read it through a few times, and I think due to a lack of vocabulary/terminology understanding on my part, I can't find the section that describes how to do that.

While the programming for what you're asking isn't that difficult to someone who does this for a living, it does take a knowledge of the system and the needed passwords to do it.

Well, I finally got some time after the last appointment today to read a bit more and try a few things. Turns out the Day / Night call settings had all gone down. After setting all lines via the *13 and *14 function, all stations are ringing now.

Good thing you read the manual. Not too many of us left in the industry that know how to program that unit.

On the plus side it's a very easy unit to program. Buy a battery backup for it so you don't have to reprogram every time the power flickers.
