The clicking is due to failed capacitors in the power supply. The CKIB is just a combination station/line card with a few more inputs. The memory is retained on the motherboard. As stated previously, there's a good chance that the programming is gone.
You MIGHT get lucky by pulling all cards except for the CKIB and disconnect any cables from the system. After that, you might be able to get the system to power up long enough to capture a database download. If that doesn't work, then you'll have to re-program the whole thing, after you get the KSU repaired.
