The vertical Summit analog ports for single line phones. can the provide caller ID info to a analog display phone? can they turn on message waiting lights on an analog phone.
Scenario: Call comes in to the AA thru a pots line with caller from the provider. After the AA answers the call the calling party dials a analog extension (example 101 or 102). The extension has single line phone with LCD display and message waiting light. Can the call that was transferred to the analog extension provide caller ID to the display and turn on a message light if the caller goes to voice mail?

It can provide CID. Not sure about MWI.

i have summit the message waiting lights wont work on single lines . Is there any programming at the phone ? i tried *8 and that doesn;t work

I believe its Program 110 Button 1
SLT Message Waiting Indicator
I believe *8 is External Voice Mail Message indicator or Register Bluetooth
I have never worked on the Vertical but that's the information I gleaned from the manual.

What type of analog phones? It matters because MW is different on older 2500 type phones and newer ones
