Something is eating CPU cycles. Check for something pinging (DOS attack) the processor. I have seen this with rogue DHCP devices. Check to make sure someone isn't trying to hack into the system from outside also make sure all your VM-email addresses are valid. Your switches/firewall also may have an issue with multicast and need to be set accordingly or changed to unicast. You will need wireshark this. Also make sure the ethernet port you are not using isn't hooked up and is 0.0.0.0. You COULD have a bad processor but I have never seen one either.
