Ya, it should work with NEC. You will need to do some programming to enable RFC/DTMF to work. I have used these devices (another brand) but it's all the same. They connect and them dial a digit to open a gate. One spot is you have to enable the DTMF/RFC and then enable the extension to press/receive DTMF after call is established.
