Gurus,

I work for a non-profit homeless shelter that is facing difficult financial times due to the recession and decreased donations. We recently lost an Inter-Tel IP SLA in a lightning storm in a remote office. A replacement IP SLA is too expensive even on E-Bay so I’m trying to replace the functionality of it with a Cisco/Linksys SPA3102, i.e. be assigned a DID, do 4 digit dialing, station to station dialing, allow access to voice mail, etc… The remote office is connected via a stable wireless connection that I installed for network connectivity. The IP SPA worked great in this environment.

I’ve found some good documents on the Internet (see below), but not for this specific need. Also, my background is in PCs, servers, and networking. I know next to nothing about PBXs and only slightly more about VOIP. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. In return for help, I’d be willing to type up a nice document as a HOW-TO and post it.

The SPA3102 has been upgraded to the latest firmware, 5.1.10(GW). The hardware version is 1.4.5(a).

I can currently do sip calling using callcentric.com. I set this up as a test and it works okay.
