'ello everyone.
Our Phone system here at the railroad (Partner ACS REV 6) suffered a "power event" and one of the ports in the middle of one of the remaining original 206 cards died. (RIP)
I have a 306 card on the shelf ready to go.
Does anyone have a SOP for how the ports rearrange when a 206 is replaced with a 308?
Will all the extensions stay the same, and now the "extra" port be at the end?
We have a Partner ACS rev 6, 308 processor card, and then have 4 206's hung off of it. The third 206 is the one that had the port get whacked.
My question is: Can I just replace the 206 with the 308 and have the processor keep the programming with the extensions, even though now two ports are shuffled off of the 4th card?
Hope this makes some sense.
Hows everybody doing?
