anyone installed a spectralink?

I'm trying to install one onto an IPO500 but not having any success. The manual says when you plug it in for the 1st time the status light 1 should flash, then connect using hyper terminal and press enter and that takes you to the main menu.

I have status lights 1 & 2 on permanently and when i connect through hyper terminal it keeps asking me for an IP address and TFTP server address then says searching for SVP100.TOC which it never finds????

Is your AVPP on the same subnet as the phone?

How are the phones getting an IP? IP 500 dhcp server or static?
