Hello, We have a customer who recently bought (5) 4620SW phones. When plugging them into their system, the display is either completely black, or it jumps around. All 5 phones do the same thing. He's tried plugging them into different locations, he's tried them with PoE, and with power supplies, he also tried adjusting the contrast in case it had something to do with that, all with the same result. They've been running these same exact phones successfully in all their locations on this same system with no problems like this before. We're at a loss. Anyone have any ideas?

Are there any inherent display issues with these phones?

Send them back. As those phones are discontinued, you had to have gotten them from a refurb house. The phone system does not control the screen of a phone, so this seems to be an issue of "bad refurbishing"

That's pretty much what one of our techs said, but I kept thinking it could be a system issue since all of them were doing the same thing. Thanks.

Like Matt said...It's pretty much an issue with the refirb house making the same mistake on all of the sets....
