This one has two parts:
1. What do the audio & visual notifications built into COS do?
2. We currently have a PRI running E911, which gives PSAP the exact location of the caller. This is working flawlessly and our emergency response times are way up. However, our security office wants to be notified of the call. Besides the built in notification, what a good way to get an automated call or email?
Thanks in advance...

Emergency Services package is pretty flexible on the 2K, the latest software lets you send a notification alert to just about any type of phone. As far as an automated call, you'd need to use the Emergency Response Adviser system, which runs on a Windows 2003 server. The server can place a call to a cell phone and/or a pager on an emergency call alert, not sure about an email trigger.
