We have a room that when called after 5 rings transfers to another room & not voicemail. Is this phone been accidentally been call forwarded by mistake? Is there a code to remove call forward?

It's been many years since I worked on an SX50 so I'm looking at the quick reference card.
It said to cancel call forwarding dial any forwarding code and hang up.
Codes on the card: 444 clears all features
Call forward always= 56
Call forward no answer= 58
Call forward busy= 59
This next one I don't understand but it's on the reference card. When sets busy/no answer= 60

I would imagine that you will have to set call forward on no answer back to the voice mail system after cancelling the current call forward.

I hope this helps instead of confusing. smile

Busy call forward no answer means if it is busy or no answer will forward. The safest bet is go to room which is call forwarded dial 444 like you suggested.

Maybe 60 is just a short cut so you don't have to dial both codes.

Thanks. I forgot this is an old system. You can pretty much do what ever you want with the new systems.

its a common problem on the 50- people forget to dail 9 an if there dailing a local # which start
with 60 or any other of the call forward codes
601-2011 would set the call foward to ext 120.
instead of useing the defaualt 60 you can add 2 more digits in form 110 feature 1260xx which is not a local prefix hope this helps
