POTS off a T1. The CLEC delivers the pots from their own demux.
I tried calling another line off the same circuit that doesn't interact with the mitel, it rang for 2 mins solid before the telco just dropped the call.
I tried calling the N1 answer point directly, and no answer at all.
In one way, I'm quite sure a station isn't answering as it's not showing on the incoming smdr (however bare and limited it is).
My next step is to go into maint and watch the circuit and see where it terminates.

Ok after pulling the amphenol for the CO lines off of the system, I've found the answer.
The CLEC's demux (a Larscom unit) offers "Voice Diagnostics" so IT was seizing the first line after too many rings. Thanks for all the help, it was good in one way to know it's not the Mitel though disappointed that I still need to scrounge for an Express Messenger to get VM and AA working.
Thanks Again.
