Does anyone know what would cause Mitel Super console to display 'waiting for communications'?

It's either plugged into a non-programmed digital port, pluggerd into an analog port, or the console has gone bad.

55 covered most of it - but I would change out the line cord and check the jack if you are sure it is plugged into the same place it was plugged into before.
