Ok, did a little digging. Yes there IS a clear all features feature. #25 in form 2, but remember, it also clears the CF to VM. Now then, if you can lay your hands on a 2-volume set of generic 1005/lite 15 manuals, look in volume 1 9109 096 602 page 5-2. Instructions for clearing MW from the console! Or PM me and I'll get it to you. John C.

Not sure if this issue went back to the 200d but in the light and elml there was a memory address problem and you could not clear the light with any of the known fixes. You had to delete the ext reset the switch ( so the memory address would reassign itself ) then rebuild the station.
Depending on the software load, you may also want to turn on COS bit 320 ( Transparent Multiconsole Operation) BEFORE THE RESET. This will allow the console to clear messages set from another device other than the console, that were set after the option is/was enabled. I believe this option is available in G1002 or higher
And as always back up the disks before a reset
