I have installed over 20 of these systems in small to medium sized offices. I really like the included remote maintenance software and the ease of backing up and restoring system and voice mail files. I have had several phones that went bad and had to be replaced. The tech support is great and very friendly. I like that the voice mail doesn't take up extension ports but I don't like that an external MOH source and paging output take up a port. The system comes with an on board MOH source which I have never run into before the MITEL 3000. Please let me know if you run into any problems I would be happy to help!

"I have had several phones that went bad and had to be replaced"

That's a little surprising. I think I have had 2 phones go bad. One had signs of water damage on the circuit board, the other no apparent sign of misuse. I did have several KSU's have the "capacitor" problem and have to be replaced. That issue appears to have been resolved. Because I had all the data bases backed up, it ususally took more time to drive to the customer's site than to replace the KSU and programming. InterTel/Mitel was very good taking care of me for the hassle of replacing the KSU's. It is my system of choice if the customer has 2 pairs to each extension.

With all the variables involved, I am amazed when any voice and data technology works like it is supposed to.
