But these batteries are chargable, so it get charged once it is on the system. So why we have to change the battery.

This is an old post but the batteries lose their ability to hold a charge after several years. The SX 100 is an old system and the batteries were probably gone a long time ago.

Is there any trick to remove the second board(Which is small board, top of the other board on CPU) to replace the battery
