C'mon everyone, we know that front desk personnel and PMS Support(insert laugh here) never cause the issues with PMS.
Had a customer turn off the UPS feeding the digi connections and not realize it for 6 weeks when a guest complained that the voicemail was not working. I showed up, turned on the UPS, reset the IP Pockets and told PMS Support to do a refresh but was told they couldn't see the equipment. DUH!! With out refreshing, the PMS system was holding garbage and would not synch with the Mitel. After 2 hours and 3 different support people, I finally got the bright one who suggested a data refresh. 5 minutes later everything was working fine.
