I'm the new guy on the block in my phone book. My current in column text only ad accounts for about a third of my calls now.

I have made customers out of many of those calls, but have yet to land a big job from my ad.

I am trying a smallish display ad this year. Hopfully at 160 a month it pays off.

I think the price is determined by ad size and population.

They charge by the size and words. They should give you a free listing also, what I do is have my ad in the Telephone sales and service and have them put my free listing in the Networking section.
