We have a Mitel 3300 ICP and apparently people who are dialing in after hours or when no one answers are unable to find anyone in our directory. I tried it myself and they're correct. I dialed 9 to be able to dial by first name and when putting in 27 for the beginning of my name it doesn't even come up. It comes up with 3 other people that do have BR in their name, 2 of which are no longer work here. I can't figure out where to go to update this information so our directory is fully populated with current employees. Any help?

This sort of problem usually indicates that mailboxes are not set up correctly. Go into your mailbox as if you were retrieving messages, and select "Personal options." There should be a spoke name, a spelled name, and a choice to be in or not in the directory.
Update those three parts of your mailbox, and I'll be that the dial-by-name will be able to find you.
Repeat for each mailbox. And make new hires complete the entire mailbox set-up from now on.

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately it only gives the option to record your name. No option to spell it or include it in the directly. Might it be a setting in the online 3300 ICP?

I think you only get the option to spell it when you initially set up a mailbox.Log into the system and put them in manually in the mailbox form.

You can go in through the administrator's or manager's box to change the settings on user boxes, including the associated name.
