I know I am missing something here. We have a customer with SX200 ICP 4.0 and a new PRI. The caller ID does not display until the handset is picked up and the caller is connected, which defeats the purpose. We tried assigning a callers key on the 4025 but that does not work. Any ideas of what I overlooked? TIA

Yes, all trunk calls are answered by AA. If I direct a trunk straight to a station we get the CID fine. How can I get the embedded vm to pass the CID?

Think about it. The CID cannot be passed until the phone accepts the call. As in when you pick up the handset and push the button.
And now someone will say that N/T will display. Yeah, just like Mitel, when it's a direct in trunk!

Make sure the AA is set to unsupervised transfer. What does the display show while the call is ringing?

Since this is emem on SX-200 MX I don't think you can change the transfer type.
Currently, the display shows the VM ext and the port label. Once the call connects the CID is passed to the set.

I'm not sure which release of the ICP it started with, but you can change the transfer type. Log in as the administrator, select 5 for system options, then 9 to change the default transfer type from supervised, to unsupervised.
