I,ve installed a dozen Flash units over the last several years. From simple vm to ccr. Now have new cust who wants ACD. He has the ACD pc software. No message board will be used. Questions: What are the pros/cons of booting to ACD only or ACD/VM? What program elements should I be aware of in both Flash, ICS and sets.

the acd will allow for call queing, report options, and better routing. you will also be able to ensure that calls are distributed fairly. the ccr trees will work but you can only send to extensions/hunt groups and if you have a lazy person in the group that doesn't want to do anything, they are a waste. the acd helps to control that by sending calls to all agents in an specified order. most of the programming will be in the flash. for the mics there will be minor group programming (also depends on setup), sets will need to have new buttons programmed so make sure you go to 7310s/7316s
