Hi all, I am a newbie to telephone system, hope that you would mind to help me.
My company have the following configuration
MICS 4.1 Pool A : 6 local lines (line 1,2,3,4,25,26) Pool B : 2 VOIP lines (line 27,28)
Outsider can call any line to our company.
Recently we have bought a DISA card to allow remote access from outside. We have configure line 4 in Pool A as Supervise mode >Auto Ans>Ans by DISA.
When we tried to dial to the line 4 , the DISA function seems like working. However, when we tried to call other line , it sometimes will get the DISA function also. We suspect it is because of the line 4 is still in the Pool A. Therefore, we tried to change it to a newly configure Pool C and even Public but it does not work.
We think with our little knowledge cannot make it. Actually , how is the configuration should be ?
Hope that somebody can help , thanks.
I am new to telephony , I am interested in VOIP

Hello cyberkoa, Please complete your profile so that we know who we are helping. Your problem has nothing to do with the Pool that the line is associated with in the Norstar. If line 4 is the ONLY line set for Auto Answer, it is probably the Telco's hunting instructions that are leading you to line 4 when another number is called. Good Luck! And, welcome to the board! ------------------ BCM Guy www.BCMguy.com Learn more about the Nortel Networks Business Communications Manager HERE !
