Does anyone know how to access the RAD via the Auto-Attendant? I have looked in the manual and it does not say. I can access it via operator assist, but not sure of the procedure for AA answer.

I was told that if you enter the line that you are calling in on for the RAD to answer, (if a back door) and when the AA answers you dial the RAD, it answers and shakes hands and you are up. I however have tried this a couple of times and had no luck.
Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

It is on a MICS 6.1 and I have a back door # set up to ring the AA. When I call the back door #, I can enter the RAD ext. # and it rings about 6 times and then says this ext. is unavailable.

You can't access through AA in this manner.
You can only use a line/target line directed to auto answer on the RAD.
If you're using POTS lines and have a free CO port you can backdoor an ATA to the CO port and set the port as auto answer on the RAD.

There is a Auto-Attendant Mode. When you choose this mode to dial, this is what you get.
When you hear the AA GRTG, dial the DISA DN or AUTO DN.
When you hear a stuttered dialtone, dial a class of service password.
When you hear a steady dialtone, enter ***RAD.
When you hear the RAD modem tone, click OK and hang up the phone.
I am not sure what they mean by dial the DISA DN or AUTO DN.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

DISA Direct inward system access, Class of service password associated with a remote filter and remote package tied to the line used for remote access. Rad is set up for use on same line. This is for an I-RAD only.
