I am trying to take a T7316e set apart to fix an intermittant trouble on the key pad, and it won't come apart, with all the screws out. Am I missing something here? I've had no problems fixing, or taking apart T7316 sets before.

I've seen those phones where there's a screw with a piece of plastic melted over it. If you can get something like a scratch awl in there you can break it out and get at the screw.
Beer, sure I'll try one

Once you open the set you will see clear plastic sheet with contacts. just like the inside of a keyboard. Check the contact tab on back of the key.

53FORD. Not sure what you mean. I can not even get the set open, by removing the screws.

Did you by any chance not remove the base?
Screws are Top left, top middle, top right, upper-half inch above the "swoop," right center by the part numbers, mid left-one third up and mid right one third up, bottom left and bottom right under the bar code.
Nine screws in all, how many do you see to count?
