Customer does have a CI card and does not have the IRAD enabled on his software. Does have CLID set to Y and still no worky. I advised him to contact is telco provider to confirm Caller ID being sent.


Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

Also...and I found this out the hard way...certain lightning/voltage protectors installed on the C.O. lines will prevent CID from being passed through.

Phone Compnay confirms, that caller id Signal is being sent. Also set up a different phone to punch down block and CID is working Fine. Just not coming through on the CICS.

Then you have programming issues. There are several places to set this up in programming and if you are doing this yourself you are going to need the install manuals not the coordinator manuals as that book is for endusers to do basics like names, time changes, speed dials, etc.

I have the Manual just not sure where to look as you can see from NICKELS he has gone in and looked and everythings that his is looking at seems to be set correctly.

Everything that I can see from the System Admin Password is OK. You can backdoor the RADs and see the set configuration, but cannot access MNTC or Line programming. I have advised Kurt to either call in a tech or pay for the IRAD software and then someone could dial in and confirm his programming.

Your exts has to be programmed for lines A&R on that set otherwise no CID ever unless VM transfers to Icm. Never answer on first ring. Let it ring at least 2 times.
