You have to have the system properly programmed for CID as well as verify the phone company is sending it.

Telco features must be set for all sets to will dispaly CLID once the line is answered. You need to program each DN to pre-display CLID data prior to answering. There are several parmeters to set in Terminals and Sets.

If you have the documentation for the CICS it is all readily available there. As Telemarv stated, there are several parameters in programming that will have to be changed.
A local qualified vendor will be able to make the changes you need for the minimum (1) hour service call. You can also click the find an Installer link at the top of the page, or contact a Moderator to guide you thru making the changes.

Thanks for the info, however our nearest dealers are 3.5 hours away. I do have the CICS 6.1 Coordinator Manual

When you say a caller ID module, do you mean you have a caller ID CI card installed in the KSU or are you using a C8 device? If it is a CIC's and is new, the dealer who installed it should be able to access your switch via the IRAD. If the system was not purchased with IRAD ability, I would recommend you ask the dealer to activate your IRAD and make the necessary changes. This IRAD device may cost a little, but 3.5 hours away is 7 hours travel time and that is not cheap. From the IRAD many changes can be made for you.

If this is 6.1 as you say you have to go to System Program > Press Show > Next 8 times and you will see IRAD. To have a Caller ID you have to have CI Trunk card. It has to be written right on the card.

IRAD on a CIC's does not really need programmed. You can have the customer transfer you to the rad via a feature code. It has a default password, which if you search the manual for passwords will tell you what it is. You would require Norstar Remote Utilities to be able to access that system via the IRAD.
