I had a tech cable and punch down 4 phones for an office that uses the Option 11 (Callpilot voicemaiL) phone system. (M3900 phones)

I provided the tech with 4 available digital ports. 16 11 thru 16 14

He needs me to add them now that they are punched down. I do not know how to do that in the progrmming. I have learned how change names, move stations. The documention I do have says nothing about adding a new phone.

I use procomm to connect to the system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not super tech on opt-11, but since nobody else has responded yet, I will try to help you.
First make sure you know what unused DN's you want to use. If you are not sure you can LD 20 and PRT LUDN. I don't know how to build new phones. So I copy them. Find a DN with an identical phone model and identical or close to it in the way you want the phone programmed. Once you have the DN to copy from find the TN of that phone. PRT DNB. I cannot remember every prompt that comes up and I know you can do muliple copies but I don't remember that either.
So do this:
LD 20
CPY 1
TYPE 3900
(just enter through any other prompts to get to the FROM TN prompt - Unless it asks for CUST. Then enter 0 but I don't think it asks for that. And I hope you don't use more than one customer number. I haven't seen anyone yet that does)

Somewhere in here it will ask for the FROM TN
Then it will ask the TO TN ( 16 11 example from your post )
Then it will ask for the DN
ENTER until done.

Do the same for 16 12 through 16 14
At least the phone will work just like the one you copied. Tweak as needed.
One more thing - Make sure you go back and correct any second line or third line, etc...on the new phones. Because it will copy those from the other phone and you don't want those 2nd & 3rd hunt lines on the new phone. Then fix the name and you should be good.

I didn't know you could do it from ld20! I always used ld11.

IF you have older software than you can't use LD 20. They finally got smart and decided it was pretty stupid to have to do LD 11 then jumpt to LD 20 to print, then back to LD 11 to do more. So now LD 20 can do it all.
You can still use LD 11 - they left it intact.

LD 20 can access LD 11, 10, 32 overlays on any system post 24 software.

Alot earlier than that. Rls 19 had that feature also.

LD 32 in RLS 19? Really?
