I'm missing something, but what?
MICS 7.0, CallPilot 150 3.1
One PRI (PRI-A), One LS/DS (Pool A)
Callpilot DN 243-244 (Access to PRI-A &Pool A)
Route 000=Pool A, No Dest Code
Route 001=PRI A, Dest Code 3
I want to present caller with 6 options each dialing an external number (Yellow Pages misprinted telephone numbers)
Paths are set to use route (I want them to use PRI) for outdial method.
No matter what I put in for the telephone number 3pXXXXXXX, XXXXXXXx, 3XXXXXXX caller hears "routing information is incorrect", or "resources busy".
If I tell it to use line 1 it works.

Do your destination code work from an extension not associated with the vmail?

Do a Feature 985 and find the Main DN for Voice Mail. Check that DN configuration. Did you say YES for Line Pool PRI-A ? Did you say YES to ALLOW REDIRECT?

Dest code 3 is working, (users dial 3 for outside line)
Main DN for VM is 243, Access to PRI A=Y, Allow Redirect=Y

Thanks for your quick replies, I am back on this this morning.

The message you are hearing is from the provider not the Norstar. If you are trying to transfer out (redirect) one PRI channel onto another channel, your provider must allow trunk to trunk transfer on the PRI. Most US providers do not by default allow this feature.

To prove this is the issue, try using your POTS. Make sure DS is turned on the POTS line.

If call comes in on POTS (only one POTS in system) I get error message
If call comes in on PRI, I can use POTS to dial out.
Dumb question, DS turned on for POTS?
