Hi everyone!
Here's a strange one for you!
We have are having problems getting TAPI info but only about half of the time.
Here is our setup: Nortel Mics /6.1 Software. PRI circuit (12 channels) Meridian 7324 sets CTA100 Tapi device
The problem is we are getting TAPI info all the time on the sets but about only half of the TAPI info is getting transferred through the CTA 100.
The telco have set up a hunt group (HG01) to handle call volume but any time a call is directed to the HG01 programmed key we get the TAPI info appearing on the set but it does not go to the CTA 100 device.
I could understand if we were not getting TAPI at all but I think they have something programmed wrong.
Any suggestions!!
John

This sounds like a cable issue between your computer, and the CTA. Check the cabling to make certain it is a standard Com cable and not home made. Nosie can cause loss of data at times. Also make sure the cable is not close to anything that may cause EMI.
