At a client's office, I have one extension set up with off premise notification to a cell phone on all messages. The user states she stops receiving messages after the first one. When the secretary returns to the office the next day, Off-Premise notification is turned off in the mailbox. Is it possible that this user is pressing something when she is remotely listening to the message that turns off the notification feature? If so, what is it?

If so, what is it? When the CP asks her to press the digit to cancel the notification, she is choosing to do so. Tell her to stop canceling it and it won't keep turning off.

She is pressing "2", which turns off the notification. If you (read: they) are using a cellphone without a headset or speaker, you typically can't get the phone to your ear in time to hear the instructions saying "press 1". You will hear "press 2", however and, if someone isn't familiar with the system, they'll go ahead and "press 2" like the nice lady told them to.
I had this set-up with an (older) group of doctor's = pulling hair out of my head trying to train them.
