I went to a customer yesterday who had just added ext 115 to his 624 and tvs 50. He called me because the mwl wasnt working on 115. So i deleted mailbox 115 and rebuilt it and then no ones mwls were working and ext.104 would not save a recorded message. So I called kxtd tech support and kurt could not beleive it so he called in and sure enough it happened with him so he decided to try it again and everything went to working normal. Anyone ever experienced that?

Slim, I've never heard of anything like that myself but I don't do much in the way of analog or the smaller TVS units. I doubt if the switch had anything to do with it. Just out of curiosity did you go in to the tvs through 999 or your LT? If the LT which emulation program, Hyperterm, PC plus etc.?

I use procomm but he has it set up on his server using hyperterminal which i dont care to use, i have been told it adds strings and bits. I mostly do digital myself. Have you gone to NJ to get training in the line of digital ksus? If so is it worth it? Thanks

I've been digital certified for about 11 years now but I didn't go to NJ. Mine was at the Panasonic midwest HQ in Elgin, IL.

What i was talking about was the new kx-tda which are voip capable. you have togo to 3 days of training on this line and you have to already be digital certified.

the tda isn't for everyone. we are going tda due to the extensive competition in houston for the td market. the tda will allow us to break ahead. just so you are clear, panasonic is being very particular about who becomes a tda dealer. also the number of dealers will be significantly less. in fact it will equal to less than a 1/3 of the 2500+ td dealers. the tda is also programmed very differently and just for additional security panasonic will begin shipping the systems with the SD flash card with no programming on it. you will then be forced to return the system if you are not a dealer as you can only download the software for that particular S/N off the website. Gotta love it. Finally a grasp on keeping the weeds out the garden.
