"County Wide, you could program those systems with terminal if you wanted but you had to put the switch up and it knocks out the whole system while doing it, wont do that again"
I relize that but do you not remember our conversation & Remember me saying alot of times i'd use the russian software on systems I didn't install and I'dd only go into EIA mode for a short time after hours so I could take a snap shot of the data base and look at it later. I'dd always use my trusty kx-t 123230 with the hook switch glued down for setting up the systems or quick program changes . SNC

as OBT says above..... be careful not to accidently throw the programming switch on the side of the system all the way to the up/top position. you can throw it down to the prog mode while people are using the phones but if it goes to the up position you will cut everyone off.
when your done programming , carefully move it back to the middle position.

it always pays to read the docs befor you show up on he job and listen carefully to the customers needs and already have a plan of attack that way when you go in throw the switch to program do a pgm fields a few key strokes and hit autodial/store then hit hold throw the switch back to normal and then you're out the door zing..... heck I could set up an 11d with an auto addtendant a viking 90volt lamplighter in 2 hours thats including programing ext names ' heck I still have 14 or 15 of those still running with original phones "Lefty" P.S that was with the frame only and assuming the place was already cabled . ( have to say though many a time I cheated and built the whole frame in the shop on a 2 foot by 4 foot (on the long ) sheet of precut painted plywood with the music blaring and then brought the whole kit to the job )
