Has anyone heard about this problem. When a Door King Gate system is connected to a trunk port on a Panasonic system (including TAW848, TDA50, TDA100, TDA200)there is a problem with DTMF on the lines. If you try to access the gate trunk and dial the gate open code the Panasonic will repeat digits. For example with out customers system if you dial *7 the system dials *799. For some reason the system dials extra digits. i know this is not a feature code problem because we changed all of the feature codes that might affect this.I talked to another dealer about this problem. They said it is a known problem and Panasonic is not going to fix it. I also know this dealer has already pulled at least 4 systems and downgraded them to TD-1232 systems. Please let me know if anyone has run across this problem.
Thanks

We've put in alot tda's and 848's with doorkings going to a c.o. port & we've never had that problem. I'm real familiar with that set-up, press the doorking c.o., dial *7 to call doorking 9 to open etc... We've never had a customer complain of that.

I know we have installed many Panasonics in the past. This seems like a new problem. Maybe just on release 3 software. The other dealer I talked to brought this to Panasonics attention and was able to talk to engineering and Panasonic basically said sorry no fix.

We have some version 3's with doorkings and we've never had a complaint about that. But if you and another dealer are experiencing it then maybe we're getting lucky.
