ideally, when the delivery guy rings bell and no one home, i can speak to him via my cell phone. when away, i get an email that the front door bell rings, i have a camera and i can see the guy, but i need to figure out how to speak to him thru the doorphone speaker. I want to be able to call into it directly. Thanks

You won't be able to call the door phone from outside, you could have a voip fxo device extending one of your slt extensions from remote location or if cpc work where you are call fwd a extension to co with the door phone programmed to ring it in night/lunch mode

You can get a doorphone that hangs off a extension and have the spare line ring to that extension, interquartz have good ones, you can program when your in to ring extension or a mobile if you are out
