Hi all,
Have a Panasonic Easaphone KX-T61610 (no rel. #) that I need to provide phones for. I have used KXT-7135's in the past but they are becoming harder to come by. My question is does anybody know if the 7700 series is compatible with this system or any of the newer panasonic models for that matter.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Paul

They work. I don't think there are any problems, even with the backlight display.

As I remember the right row of keys wont work. You cant program them for DSS or speed dial. The Easaphone KSU would only support 7000 series phones. I think I ran into this not too long ago. The 7700's may work.

Unless I was just lucky, the 30810-1 had DSS button issues in the 7030 series. It was really designed to work with 30830's and something in the software didn't let you assign buttons. Perhaps all my 61610's were rev 2 or 3.
I have 2 or 3 KSU's in the warehouse and the one I tried the 7735 on worked fine.

Yes, I have used 7731's on an old 616 with no problem, but my client's needs were very simple. not all the programmable buttons may work. Water damage had turned my 616 into a 410, but it was adequate, and I practically gave it to him.

What I remember about using 77xx phones on the old 308/616's is that when you press the intercom button, it would only go on for about a second then drop. So if you wanted to intercom someone you have to be real quick.
