Progress Report - After being turned off all night, I re-enregized the KSU this morning, and guess what, everything functioned as designed. Except, 3 extensions (of 9 total) were dead. Ext #19, 25, and 26 were dead. There are no extensions assigned between #19 and #26 except #25, so is it possible a fuse or relay is associated with all of these extensions? I checked the extensions at the KSU, and all three are dead. I also removed the door ringer, and that made no difference. Although I still think the door ringer may have been part of the original problem (continuous 3 short rings on several extensions). Any remaining suggestions? Thanks, Mark

Close-out report. Assigned phones associated with extensions #19,25,and 26 to other extension jacks (between #11 and 18), and they functioned properly. Obviously, I have problem with KSU circuitry that causes extension positions 19-26 to be inoperative. My conclusion on the original problem (continuous 3 short rings on several extensions) is that it was a separate problem and went away when outside wiring to remote gate dried out. Thanks for your help. I have one other issue, but will start with new thread. Mark
