I have a TDE100 installed and the customer has told me on a couple of occasions that when a call comes in two people go to answer it and end up on the call together. When the call comes in they have to push the line button to answer the call. I'm looking at settings but I cannot find what would be causing this. Any thoughts/suggestions?

More input are you using ringing to pdn's/sdn's or icd groups? Is it possible that a co is punched on two co ports on the system?

It is ringing to an ICD group with 2 phone on immediate ring and then about 5 with a delayed ring. I've checked wiring and everything checks out okay. It always seems to happen with at least one extension. I have checked the programming on the extension and everything seems to be exactly like the other ones.

Yes, 1 digit if set up. maybe the one guy is doing something and not saying. other than cross points faulty or like you said, same co on 2 different co ports can't see how 2 people can pick up on same call. thats why I asked about the lights
Could try putting one extension on another card

From your post it sounds like they are on separate lines and hearing the same caller? I had a situation years ago where the caller was accessing two different cell towers when he placed a call. The result was two incoming calls would arrive at the customers premise simultaneously. (airplane) Are your lines programed as single Co's on the phone? Make sure your CO lines are correct and please post what you find this is strange.

The customer has not reported it happening anymore. Everything was connected correctly. This place is known to have it's "gremlins".
