I am working with one of our customers moving an existing key bx 8/16 Symphony II system. The current phones are part number 73-470-0000/4 for the non-display and 73-120-0000/8 for the display phones. They would like to add some phones to the system but I can only find 73-140 and 73-150-0100/4 phones. Will these work? and if they will what is the differance? Also what do I need to do to program this system?

They will work, and it's either an KEYBX 816 or a Symphony II
which both use the same phones.

the difference is the 120 and 140 has a display and the 150 does not.

To program:
the sysmpony uses a dummy terminal and the KEYBX 816 uses a special dss programmer.
Find out exactly which one you have.

Thanks for the info. The system is a Telrad key bx 8/16. Do you know what DSS will work on the systems?

It's a special DSS that Telrad made (Dumb idea on their part) But they can't be found any more, there's a few installers who might have one but they wont let em go, the only choice you'll have is to rent one from someone, I know that kinda sucks but there isn't any other options. I think dtmf has one, you can check with him.
