Permissions for Installers Category. To get permission for the private installers forum you must have at least 10 posts along with the following. 1.Post in this thread that your requesting permission. 2. Make sure you have filled out the information in your user profile so we know who you are, don't bother asking if you have a throw away email address and list nothing else as to who you might be or the company you work at. 3.We need to be able to verify your an Installer/Owner or in the Telecom business in some way shape or form to be considered. We verify by matching your email address to your companies web sites that's listed in your profile, just typing a telecommunications company's name address and phone number in your post may not help in the verification, we also look at your 10 posts. You can also be recommendation by a moderator for permission. 4. Make sure your PM (private message) and allow emails are on in you profile. Please read the Installer Forum Information in the forum once you have permission. We have you request in this thread so all we need to do is click on your users name to change your permissions...so much easier that way.  Thank You

I am a installer, not a big company, one man show, some refer to me as a "trunker" I have been doing this for a long time, way back to the 1A2 days, I am semi-retired
Do you have to be a big company, to get permission to go to that forum?
I don't have a website, and only have a home phone number. Like mentioned, I am a small company.
Is there a fee to join, and if so what are the benifits to joining?
Really like your site, wish I new about it years ago.

I have not met the requirement for the ten posts yet unless multiple replies count. Touch Tone Tommy, and Dagwoodsystems may be familiar with me from another forum, and willing to endorse my request for access to the Installers forum. I expect I will meet the posting requirement soon.
I have my own small business, and have installed thousands of systems in my carreer.
I can not recommend any technology platform, only technicians!

I run an electronics and communications business up in Niagara region of Canada called JTec Central. I do lots of residental ATA installs, Panasonic phone systems, structured media, and convergence for small businesses (and corporate computers/servers/DVRs...). I'm also working hard on learning the Avaya systems.
This forums knowledge has been indispensable so far, I really appreciate the hard work of the admins and people who help them.

Good morning.
I would like to ask for access to the installer forum.
I run a small telecoms & IT business based in Worcester, UK. We used to be Samsung dealers and certified installers up until a few years ago when, for various reasons we dropped out of the partner programs. I personally am a qulaified Samsung Installer for DCS and NX systems; no formal training on iDCS but we support and install them.
We also install Panasonic and BT equipment as well as Cat 5e, Cat 6 and fibre networks.
Can I have access please?
