Bringing to life an OLD topic here . . . hope that's not improper etiquette.

I have a customer with an IVM running 7.04g software. The PC appears to be on its last leg.

Is this software still available? Also would an "IPeX processor with on board EmaGen voicemail" work with an Telrad 128 SB7 system? I'm sad to say I haven't been able to stay up to date with the latest Telrad systems, so I have zero experience with the IPeX and/or EmaGen.

While the phone system is old, I believe the customer would much rather do what they can to save/repair/replace the voice mail system than replacing their entire phone/voice mail systems.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Suzanna

It's ok but you could have started a new topic.

Yes the Ipex will work with the old equipment. You just need to upgrade the chips on the cards. The Ipex card will replace the IVM PC and MPD card.
Plus maybe upgrade the chip version in the phones.

Good Luck.

SSPhone can get you all the equipment and information you need.

We have IPeX's in stock and what I have been offering to members here is a turn key solution. You back the system up and send me a config file I will convert it to E2E-3 and load it along with the licenses and all you have to do is pull the MPD and install the IPeX. The voicemail will need a network connection and if you want you can order a ORT RS232 programmers kit so you or your client can make programming changes across the network on both the system and voicemail.

Let me know.

Now that you mention it, I forgot to ask . . .

Does this IPeX processor use a different programming interface than what I'm used to, like with the SBx, DBx, etc? (you may have already answered that above)

Thanks

Answered your PM.

Yes you use EManager 3.1.0.8 for a eDa3.13 IPeX.
