at the risk of paraphrasing if you have the correct dongle and noone has been using the password options (most don,t) master should get you in. i have had issues with a dongle ounce. but if you are not familiar with toshiba dk programming especially with adminxx you can get in a lot of trouble. so practice on a non-crtical or bench system first.

Thanks Martin. Yes, Master got me in the software. The system was dropped on me without warning. I have the actual laptop used to admin the switch. The database is here, but so far I haven't gotten the dialer to work for a remote. I hope I have better luck with a direct connection. Thanks for the warning on hosing the system. I am a total toshiba newbie,So I will proceed with caution. Right now the only pressing issue is to redirect a couple of DID's. looks simple enough, but I know how that usually works out! Originally posted by martin: at the risk of paraphrasing if you have the correct dongle and noone has been using the password options (most don,t) master should get you in. i have had issues with a dongle ounce. but if you are not familiar with toshiba dk programming especially with adminxx you can get in a lot of trouble. so practice on a non-crtical or bench system first.

If all you need to do is redirect 2 DIDs use a 20 button phone plugged into port 005 and do program *09 you will be in and out in 2 mins. Thats alot easier than hooking up the laptop and backing up the system then make the change then uploading

for remote you need a piou card I believe and then just have someone transfer you to #19. when you first setup the dkadmin for the switch you need to know the closest match to the proc version. then do a backup first thing and after which it will display the right version. as well as you having a backup in the event you mess it up.
