I installed 2 pdku2 cards in the 3rd cabinet on a dk280 with cd r3 processor. I assigned code 61 to the slots in prgm 03 and cycled the power. When I connected my phone it showed no extention number. Int # 401 showed no ext number. Int # 402 showed port 080 . I assigned ext number 280 to port 080 and it seems to work o.k. Why didn't the system automatically assign the default extention number. I don't remember having to manually assign extention numbers when adding cards. This is not my regular customer. Could a previous technician have unassigned the extention numbers or do I have other problems with the system.
Thanks
JBW

More then likely the installer deleted all the ext numbers at time of install. I have run into this on systems that the ext numbers were nit left at default 200 201 ect.
