John, Paul sent the numbers. They have been hermetically sealed in a mayonnaise jar and stored on Funk & Wagnall's porch since noon today.

God I miss Carson. :toothy:

I have not had any luck getting the number from telco techs. I either use the MCI number or my cell phone.

BTW.. started carrying two cell phones. a Cricket for times when I am on the phone for hours with tech support. Flat rate.. keeps my Sprint phone clear and not going over minutes.

Had a Verizon tech give me some numbers yesterday but added, "Sometimes this doesn't work...do you have the MCI number? We use it all the time."

The one I got from Qwest works well, but only for Qwest. For the independent companies I use one of the others. Even Qwest is no longer a true ANAC. The reason I believe this is even with the Qwest number you have to dial *82 to unblock the CID at times, it will even tell you to dial the code and dial again. A true ANAC comes right from the switch and doesn't use CID, it uses the translations in the switch itself.
