I just got a wireless headset so I can move around my office. I am having a minor problem and was told that what I need to do is to turn off the 'on-hook dialing' which requires me to push one of the buttons every time I make a call. I can answer a call, but not put that one on hold and answer the other one. I have used the codes before to program things in my book, but cannot find anything for this. help please.

I don't think you can do what you want. I am not 100% positive, but 99.999% positive.
The Plantronics earpiece lets you send a signal to lift the reciever and answer the phone. There is no sophistication on the Plantronics to put that call on hold and go to another line.
To do what you want, you need a Toshiba portable phone such as the DKT 2004 or others and you can put a headset on that.

Concord, you're not using the HHEU headset adapter with the handset lifter are you?

How could any wireless headset put the first call on hold, and then answer a second call?
You could hang up a call and answer a ringing call, but there is no signal, no dial pad on the headset to put the first call on hold. Or, am I missing something here?

OK, that actually happened to a customer using the CS50!! She called to say that she was talking to somemone and all of a sudden she had a new person on the line. When she disconnected from that person she got the first person back. I did find there is a setting on the CS50 base called Intellistand. It is on the side of the base. If thsi is on, maybe turning it off would work? I gave this tip to my customer but I don't know if it made a differenced yet.

Well if she was on a single line phone perhaps there is a flash button, but she is using a Toshiba digital phone where a call comes in on one button and the next call comes in on another button. Flash would have no effect here.
If you touch a button to hang up on one call and touch it again to get the next call, cool.
But, there is no control to place the call on hold, lower the handset, and raise the handset to get the next ringing call.
The killer on this is that there is no control on the headset to tell the Toshiba to put a line on hold. As far as I can see, that stops the possibility.
Any headset gurus have a way to do this? I'd like to see it happen, I just don't see how it can be possible.
