Have an IES32 with Toshiba CTX.
When leaving a voice mail in mid sentance it states message not recorded and takes you to the auto attendant.

Weak port ? not detecting voice ??

I have found this as a problem on the Flash voicemail and the issue was the 4 hours of storage time was used up. Have uses delete saved messages and try it again.

I checked the Disk space and it has 13 gig available.

What happens exactly is it say record your messag after tone... tone beeps.. start leaving message thn wqhile in mid sentance it says message not recorded and returns you to the auto attendant.

its driving me crazy...


Also is thewre a device io can attach to a digital extention to make the ringing louder?
its a 'DKT3010 SD

Does this happen for every extension and have you rebooted the voicemail?

For loud ringing look in your install manual for a BHEU and go from there.

I have also tapped off the speaker wires to an amplified horn. That works too but all the time, not just ringing, so the speakerphone becomes a pain unless you put a single pole on/off switch on one side of the pair.

Have you talked to tech support? It sounds like the VM could be defective. You may be able to do an AWR, but you would need to talk to them first and get their ticket number to reference when doing the AWR.

Loud rining I already have a amp'd horn for main number. I was looking for a device for this one extension. without having to do any wiring.

the not recording message is sometimes, sometimes work sometimes not.

Thats why I was thinking a weak port thinking it was silence.

The only way I know of doing it without any wiring is to use a baby monitor, listening end next to the phones speaker and the receiving unit wherever you want it.

For the ringing issue :thumb:
Try using a phantom ringing on the digital set and a analog set change the phantom to be the digital ext number and place a telestobe on the analog port. When you dial the ext # both will ring and light up.

On the audio problem I would get tech support into it remotely. Had the same problem a few years ago and they went in via modem and corrected the problem. It wasnt actually the same I had half the ports doing it. And the softkey prompts were also falling off.
